ADJUSTED VALVES @ .006. INTAKES WERE OK. EXHAUST WERE .010. MOWER STILL SHUTS DOWN BUT TAKES LONGER TO DO SO. ALL FUEL LINES AND FILTER HAVE BEEN REPLACED AS WELL AS THE SPARK PLUGS. WHAT HAVE I MISSED ?? THANKS IN ADVANCED FOR ANY HELP.

GOOD QUESTION. I'LL TRY TO FIND A PRINT OF THE MOWER AND CHECK FOR A SWITCH. I DID UNHOOK THE KILL WIRES FROM BOTH COILS AND IT STILL SHUT DOWN. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP.

Did you check for spark when it shuts down. No spark coil problem, spark fuel problem. If it's a fuel problem, start by checking the fuel pump when it shuts down.
