Hey folks,
I've had a Honda Residential mower for the last 10 years and it hasn't missed a beat. In this time I've done basic servicing (replacing oil, spark plug and air filter) but have never had it professionally serviced.
The mower has always started OK (put it in choke, pull, then move the throttle to full), however the service centre said that it didn't start OK and something about it running in choke mode (unfortunately they didn't speak directly to me so I don't know the problem).
Anyway, they replaced the carb due to damage from old fuel and it is all working perfectly now. It runs well now but I'm not sure what the problem was with starting the mower as it always started for me (on choke when cold) and at full throttle when warm. Any ideas?
