Honda mower age question

I have a Honda HR215 Hydrostatic with serial number MZAM-6112475. Hoping someone can help me determine the age. Thanks!

I suggest you cut it in half, and then count the rings.

But I could be wrong.

Good luck. Honda does not identify their units age by years, but by series production. Your best bet is to contact Honda directly with all engine and unit number. With that they may, I repeat may, be able to give you an approximate date of manufacture.
