I have a Honda 215 harmony self propelled. This one stops the engine when you release the flywheel brake lever. I assume this kills the spark to the plug. I would like to install a separate kill switch if possible so when I release the brake lever the blade will stop turning but the engine will keep running. Any ideas on how this can be done?

The brake stops the engine from turning and at the same time it kills the spark, so I do believe you are going to have to live with it.

You cannot stop the blade and keep the engine running without a clutch. Honda makes other models with there roto stop. (Blade brake system)

My thanks to you both. Saved me a lot of time trying to figure it out.
