Thought I would say 'Hello.' and share my new mower experience. I purchased the Honda-HRX217VYA 2015 version from lawn mowers direct (free shipping/no tax) this past Spring. Excellent mower all around! I'm very satisfied with my purchase and enjoyed my mowing season thoroughly. I have a little over a half acre so mowing can be quite a workout.
There is one thing that kinda bothers me as my mower started to surge when idling a few months after I received it. Probably started to surge in August and the mower was delivered a few months prior. At this point, I still considered it a 'new' mower which is why the surging bothers me so. I've yet to clean the carburetor but I plan on doing so soon.
