Honda HRX217 won't start.

My Honda hrx217 won't start using the electric starter, but will when I use the pull cord. When I turn the key they motor turns over fine, just won't start. Any suggestion on where to start looking?

Hey Mark, the battery in the video is different from the one you linked (the box is also different & maybe the harness). Don't know which one the OP owns. My older HRX217HMA uses the one Dony installs & is as much as $160 at some sites. The one you link is for certain K6 models which are newer than my HMA, I believe. But since the linked battery is so much cheaper, I wonder if one could retro the new battery to fit in the older battery box. Have you tried that? K6 on left; HMA on right. Thanks.
