Buying Advice Honda HRR216VKA Electric Start or Roto Stop which one to buy ?

This is my first post here on this forum but have enjoyed reading and learning from others posting here. Actually cleaned my carb on my Briggs motor over the weekend from posts describing how to do it.

I have decided to purchase a new Honda HRR self-propelled mower. My yard is not very large, takes alittle over 1 hr to mow and bag. At first thought I was looking a the Electric Start rather than the Roto Stop version of the Honda HRR216VKA. Now I'm leaning toward the Roto Stop.

Of the two which would you choose and why?

Do you mind much to pull the recoil? I chose the blade clutch model because I need to move things out of the way while mowing. Re-starting by pull is usually easy enough, but sometimes that little engine is finicky and wants another 1 or 2 pulls. Overall a good machine. I did wish the bag was larger for leaf collection. Bonsai!

I want to reduce pull starting due to old shoulder injuries starting to bother me more. Electric Start or Roto Stop will reduce pull starting. Since I'm bagging and emptying the grass out of a bag now I pull start all the time using my Toro 20066 Recycler.

Have you had any problems with the blade clutch ?

Honda is best for its great engine and fuel efficiency. One of my favorite self propelled lawn mower for hilly area.

Blade clutch operation has been perfect for two seasons now.

Unless pulling a pull cord is completely out of the question I think you will find the electric start fairly superfluous. Most Hondas generally start on the first pull and are not at all difficult. You will find the roto-stop a fair more useful feature in my opinion.
