My clutch was slipping and the blades would stop turning so I replaced the clutch (Driven Disk). When I try to engage the blades now, they don't turn. From what I can tell and according to the video I watched on changing the clutch "PART 2" HONDA HRC216 BLADE CLUTCH REBUILD / WHAT TO REPLACE AND WHAT WEARS OUT. - YouTube the new clutch is installed correctly. The cable adjustment on the blade control lever is fine too. Any ideas on why the blades will not turn? They were working fine, except for the slipage, before I changed the clutch.

The Honda HRC216HX has a number of different clutch designs, depending on the serial number. If you'll share that with me, I can get you some specific troubleshooting details:

Thanks for replying Robert, I finally figured it out. Even though the cable adjustment on the blade contril was within specifications it simply was not pulling the brake back far enough to release the blades. After adjusting the cable to almost it's limit it finally pulled the breake off the clutch pad enough to release the blade. Thanks again for your time.
