I recently picked up a Honda HRB423 with a GV100 engine. It seems in decent condition and starts on the first pull, but I don't know anything about its history.
It feels/sounds like the engine is running slow. The throttle control cable is working OK and the throttle lever is in the correct position. If I manually pull the governor lever, the engine gets faster and sounds good, but when I release it it goes back to sounding too slow.
It has a new air filter and I'll do the oil/spark plug soon.
I would really like to increase the engine speed. I know it'll wear the engine faster but that's OK with me.
Is there any way to do that?
