Hi,
The house I rent has an old Honda HR214 which, until two weeks ago, still worked wonderfully. Two weeks ago it did not start for the first time in the two years I've used it. I changed the spark plug (which was the only "common" replaceable I didn't change last summer) and when I pulled the cord she fired right up...but started spewing white smoke. This was not completely uncommon as every time I fired her up she smoked for 5 to 10 seconds while warming up. This time it just kept going and going and going filling my garage and driveway with thick white smoke. At this point I was already sopping wet with sweat because of the extreme heat around here so I shut it down and called it a night. A couple of days later, I went out to start it up and fiddle with it and it didn't turn over. I've tried it every few nights since and I've gotten nothing. I have limited abilities fixing engines, but I've pulled the plug out and replaced it, I've tried the "Flooded Engine" instructions from the manual... and that's about the end of my skills. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you so much for any help.
