Honda Harmony HRR216VKA - Running Open

I recently purchased a second-hand Honda Self-Propelled push behind. It has worked fine, starting with a single pull (usually) and mowing my grass effectively and efficiently. Last week I loaded it up and took it to my brother in laws house to mow his lawn and it started acting up. It sputtered and any time the engine came under load it died. I did the stupid thing and replaced all replaceable parts at once and cleaned the carb, instead of doing the updates one at time. The spark plug was fouled with carbon pretty badly. I dissembled the carb and cleaned it out and it was fairly clean (no debris in the bowl). I also replaced the gaskets and air filter.

After replacing everything and reassembling, it starts on a single pull and does not sputter but it seems to be running wide open. It is running fast enough to almost pull forward on its own. I am not sure were to go from here thus my post. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks-

Check all springs and linkage for being installed & operating correctly. There are at least 4 HRR216VKA models listed at Honda Parts Nation, K5-K8, find out which model you have. Check numbers on your carburetor also & see if they match numbers on HPN website. I would also replace fuel filter located inside fuel line at gas tank.
