Just a red plastic thingie that is - supposedly, so I hear tell - to help (when filling) figure out when the fuel tank is nearly full. Doh! Since when would vision-impaired folk be filling a fuel tank from a jerry can?
But there is no fuel filter under the cap! Is this normal? It's not to me. E.g. My two-stroke mower and stand-by inverter generator each have micro-fine fuel (gas) filters.
Decidedly odd. Anyone added an under-cap fuel filter to a Honda GCV160? If so, what did it look like / where'd you get it?
