I got a Homelite ST 275 trimmer that needs repair. The problem looks to be when you put the spark plug in it, the recoil won't pull like it's supposed to. But without the spark plug it pulls. What can I do to fix this?
Unless your recoil is broken then it sounds as if the cylinder is full of fuel. Remove plug and pull it over until you are sure its cleaned out, then check to see if the plug has spark and put it back in and try again.
Thanks for the reply! I cleaned the cylinder, that got it pulling right. Then when tried to start it the fuel tank started leaking and the spring at the recoil broke so I have a few parts to buy!
