Hint for removing dust/grease cover on fork assembly Toro Zero turn

Does anyone know how to remove the silver round dust/grease covers on the fork assembly? There doesn't seem to be a notch or place to put a screwdriver in to pry them off. Is there a special tool for this?
Thanks,
Zeek
