I have 7 res. lots that I mow. For years and years I have mowed with a Case 446 Lawn Tractor. Its a great old machine but its getting old and weak. I have looked at tractors like the JD 500. I have looked at lots of zero turns. I think what I would really like to get is a Country Clipper JAZee Pro with Kawasaki and joy stick. And I know several guys that have them and really like them. But a new one is over $6000 and I havent been able to find a used one. I have looked hard at a Hustler Sport. They seem to be heavy duity and well made and I can get one with a Kawasaki for $3300. On the other hand I dont know anyone that has one so I dont have any first hand reports on them. I also looked hard at a one year old Snapper 500Z with 48 hours on it. Its $3200 but once more I dont know anyone that has one. I see on here that lots of guys like the Gravely. I havent given them a hard look yet but next week I may go check out the ZT and the ZT XL.
Im 66 years old, I have never owned a new mower and Im tired of working on old mowers. I want to find one that I can use for as long as I want to mow and just do normal mantince on. But Im not going to pay more for the mower than I could pave the yard for. Any help or advice that any one can give me would be great. Charlie
