I have a John Deere L110 ride on mower. I noticed that when I last used it (this past weekdnd) when I tried to go forward or reverse the mower would not move very fast until it was running for a few minutes. After that it operated fine. This is the first time it has done this. The mower was used 2 weeks earlier. Is there an upcoming problem with the hydrostatic gearbox or will changing the oil in the gear box stop this from happening. It was suggested I change the oil anyway.
What is involved in replacing the oil & what type is recommended?
The mower has kohler engine.
