I've accumulated several unrelated [brandwise] pieces of yard equipment over the years , Roto Hoe chipper, Kubota HST 1400 without deck,etc,etc but the trashiest thing I own is a 2020, CRAFTSMAN T100. It is 7 speed and that part works great but the dif. sounds like its filled with marbles it travels too fast to use a bagger during spring growing season. Due to it's too high gear ratio it doesn't handle heavy grass well without bogging down.
I thought,''well I'll just put a smaller axle pulley on it and solve all my problems.Not so easy only pulley I can find with that MTD hub is same diameter[7.25 I think]. Engine pulley is already very small so don't think that's the answer.
Anyone have a solution, inexpensive works for me.
