That'll do it. Looks like ethanol got to it..

Also a good time to add inline gas petcock....

i've been getting A LOT of these tipped needles with the tip coming off.
this is an OEM Briggs Ruixing carburetor on a 7.75hp Professional. And a few Kohler engines.
i wish there was conversion for the all metal needle and rubber seat. i have far less problems on those, it seems

Now that is a perfectly good needle valve. <LOL>

Sounds like you may be getting that E15 fuel in your area or there is bad batch of parts. The needle problems I had lately are ringed ones.

Suggest doing a fuel test on the customer's fuel to how much ethanol is in the fuel. I had one customer here that his fuel destroyed two brand new vacuum fuel pumps until dump the fuel and put in my E10 fuel.

I did take the pumps apart and verified that the rubberized check valves were fuel damaged.
