I am 64 YO and along with working way to many hours a week I have several mowers I purchased my John Deer 318 in 1995 when it was about 10 years old. Then Got a great deal on my 445 JD at a auction. It was nice to have a backup when I was working on the 318. The combination worked out well and of course there has been one time when both had problems. 318 had ignition module problems and the 445 had a water pump leak. This past summer I bought. a Dixie Chopper Excalibur. Of course couldn't get rid of either of the others so now I am up to 3. I use the 318 a lot to mow my companies lawn and alternate each so they get used. I have 3.5 acres so if I'm in a hurry the DC with 66 inch deck. Between work and mowing I work on my cars, Love on my dog that is my best friend, ride motorcycles and sometimes do a little shooting at the range. I have a girlfriend but we both have our own places. At my age it seems to work well, even though she might disagree.
