Can you post a photo? Can't be "that" hard. Just do it in the reverse order as when it came off.

You have to place the spring in the slot where the pin goes pull the spring end back onto the deck that has the rubber cap on it, and then re-insert the pin.

I "think" I understand. The best I can figure without seeing it is that you must first preload the spring, hold it in place while you insert the pins

Yep its kinda aggravating but one side of the spring is on the deflector, and the other side on the deck you will have to push down on the chute, and insert the pin.
