I have the bad boy zt elite 60".. the problem is the blades are engaging when trying to start mower.. any ideas of what it could be??? I've checked the pto switch it's clicking and put a new pto clutch on as well. Fuses are good.

Unplug the clutch and see if it still does it. If not you have a mechanical issue if it does you have an electrical issue Usually a clutch doing what you described has bad bearings locking up.

I did try that as well.. still doing the same thing.

how did U tighten the clutch? Did U put everything back on it the proper order
