I just picked up an old mower for $50 and I'm hoping to refurbish and repaint any parts that need it. Can someone help identify the model year for the mower - serial number is MZAN-6116162.

The mower fires right without a problem but at the very least it needs a new blade. All exposed plastic is a bit sun faded but overall this thing is built like a tank. My plan is to give it a basic tune up, replacing the oil, filters, spark plug, and blade. Is it worth it to repaint the sun-faded plastic? What other maintenance would you consider?

It has the bag but I was considering mulching. I've heard the mulching plug is hard to find on the older HRC216's. Any advice here would be appreciated as well.

Second/middle row, 2nd, 4th thru 6th mower serial numbers are in range.
