Help with Bolen Mower Please!

Hi.

I’m hoping someone would be able to help my Dad with a problem he is having with his Bolen G14 lawn mower with a Tecumseh motor.

He is wondering if something is wrong with the clutch. He says that it’s almost like the mower does not have a neutral as he cannot get it to move while it’s not running. And when it is running, he has to manually jam it into gear. Any ideas?

He was also wondering if while the mower is running and the clutch is stepped on, should the shaft stop spinning?

I think your clutch is sticking. Some how tie your clutch pedal down for a day or two and see if that works.
