I was blowing snow the other night and suddenly the auger quit turning on the blower. No clunks or noise. The shaft behind the sprocket box turns but the auger doesn't. I'm assuming it's something in the sprocket box. My question is, do I need to replace the whole sprocket box (very expensive) or is there something common inside them that goes out?

:smile:My guess is either the chain or sprocket gear. No you do not have to buy the sprocket box. Go to partstree.com, click on Cub Cadet and down on lower left put in 341, an IPL will pop up.

Post your model numbers for the blower and I will try to find you a parts breakdown.
