I have a Troy-Bilt with a Briggs and Stratton engine, model number 124T02-0464-E1. I'll try to be as detailed as possible.
I have used it about 4-6 times this season already, so it was working fine. It began to show trouble when I went to try to crank it one day. It took several tries but I got it. That was the last time I could get it cranked. Now, it won't even act like it wants to turn over. Here's what I've replaced/done to it.
I have replaced
-Spark plug(twice just to make sure the other wasn't faulty)
-Air filter
-Primer bulb(it still doesn't "feel" like its priming at all - more on that later)
Here's what I've *done*
-took off the carb bowl and checked for any gunk(there was none that I could see)
-cleaned the little holes, or lines in the carb with a wire brush thread.
-checked that the floater is functional(from what i could tell).
-cleaned the carb with carb cleaner
-Took off the manifold and sprayed carb cleaner in there just to make sure
-Poured out the old fuel in the tank and filled it back up with fresh fuel from my jug.
Like I said, it feels like there's no fuel coming into the carb when I try to prime it. However, I have squirted a little fuel into the carb with a little syringe. This didn't help. I'm at a loss. The only thing I can think it might be is the ignition coil, but I'm not sure. HELP Please!!
