After running something over and breaking the belt, my engine will not start. The carb is clean and rebuilt, getting spark from both plugs, what else can I check to get it starting? Its a troy-bilt with a 22hp B&S.
I am assuming that what ever you ran over stalled the engine dead. It don't happen very often on rider engines, but I would check the flywheel key to see if it is sheared. Just remember that if you replace the key, make sure to get the flywheel torqued correctly afterwards.
The key to the flywheel is also good. Im extremely puzzled. I have sprayed the carb with starter fluid, changed the plugs. It should have fired a little when cranked, but didnt. What else could I possibly check?
