Hey everyone, my name is Scott and I am new to the forum. I found a Walker on CL and have a question about it that I am hoping someone here can help me with. I am trying to identify what year the mower is. I am hoping that if I give everyone the info I know about the mower, someone may be able to tell me how old it is. I went to see the mower and did not find a serial number where it should have been. It had a serial number on the deck (4-06915). It also had a plate on it that identified it as a M36-42. It has a Kohler 16hp motor. It does not have a deck that lifts up and locks in place but does have this thin bar on the front of the deck that looks almost like a prop rod on the hood of a car. It has a 42" deck and is a GHS unit. The guy who is selling it is asking $750. I know you get what you pay for but Walkers have a really good reputation. I just want to see what everyone thinks. Is this a good deal or not. Thanks for any help you can give me!
