I'm hoping someone can help me ID the year and model of this Lawn-Boy mower that was passed down to me. My grandparents bought this mower new sometime in the early to mid '60's. It is a beige-colored bricktop with blue trim, 18" cut. It runs good, but is leaking fuel from the float bowl/fuel shut-off valve. I would like to repair and mildly restore this mower. Thanks for any help that anyone can provide.

That's a cool old LawnBoy you have there. There should be someone on this forum that can give you all kinds of help with your mower. Today its kind of slow but later on and tomorrow one or two of the LawnBoy folks will see your post and be more then happy to tell you all you need to know about it. Good Luck
Well it has a "D" series engine, with a metal carb that has a plunger activated primer. All very common for quite a few years. Uses a point-type ignition coil. You can get repair parts, float, needle and seat, new ignition coil fairly easily.

I'm on the Southside of Indy just north of Greenwood. If you can PM me your contact info, I'll get in touch with you. I have these 6 other mowers I just picked up that I need to find parts for. Maybe you'd be kind enough to help me out with that also.
