Help - Husqvarna GT2254 Transaxle pulley - manual transmission

I'm rebuilding a GT2254 that is missing the transaxle pulley. This is old so no major parts or gearbox.

The GT2254 pulley spun on the shaft which it damaged it to the point that I will have to weld the new pulley onto it.

My question is, which way does the new pulley go onto the shaft? The pulley hub is flat on one side and sticks out about 1/2" on the other side. This is important for belt alignment.
Which side goes on the transaxle side?

schematic shows your 1/2" or so pointing up, i believe this would be for cooling fan mounting & clearance.
