I have no brakes on a mid 90s 12 HP rider. I pulled the wheel and noticed a bolt was missing from the brace to the right of the rotor. The brace bolts beside the braked and bolts to the fender. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the brakes but need to put it back
So I need to know the size. It looks like a 5/16 but don't work, is it fine thread? Thanks for any help.
I finally found a little info on this old mower. The bolt that looks like a 5/16 is labeled a "Murray 26X216MA Thread Forming Screw " for $5-$8.00!!
If it's not a special screw, what size is it at the hardware store?
