My first Name is Jim, I am 79 and still moving. I live in western Maryland, Garret county. I enlisted in the Navy in March 1954, served 45 months, was stationed in New Port and Davisville,Ri. 44 of those months was spent on land, went to sea for 30 days. Never got to see the world. I am married, my wife and I have been married for 57 years. Have a son and daughter. I have one grand-daughter who is the apple of my eye an came to us at a difficult time in my life.

I posted a question bout my Troy built mower and hope to put the answer to use on Monday morning.

This seems to be a great forum board and I am glad to be aboard.

To all the Veterans on this forum board, I thank you for you service.

In closing, please forgive my spelling, typos and other mistakes, My brain is slower and my fingers do not move as they use to.

Hello Crellin!

Thank you for your service. My family has a proud heritage in the Navy starting with my Great Grandfather. My Father (RIP) served during WWII and was awarded The Purple Heart.
