I own a Gravely zt2044. I am not mechanically incline but can do some basic things. Found this forum while searching for solutions to a problem I am having with my mower. So, I'm just trying to learn as much as I can and see what other people are dealing with and how they fix things.
Thanks,
Smileyblue

Welcome to the forums and the growing Gravely clan here!!! What year is that ZT2044 and how many hours do you have on it? What kind of problems are you having(do you have another thread you started to get help)? I'm still a newbie to ZTR's and not real up on troubleshooting repairs but you came to the right place to get some assistance. I've learned a lt since I came here 2 years ago!!!

When you engage the blades the mower will disengage them. I replaced the PTO switch, but that didn't solve the problem. You have to shake the wiring to get the blades to engage after the first time. Then it's a continuing process of mow a little stop take apart the control box and shake wires. I have looked for broken wires and disconnected wires but I am not sure what I am looking for. The manual saids to take it to the dealer. Before I do that I at least want to know what might be wrong. The mower is close to 8 years old and has 4154 hours. I would appreciate any thoughts you might have on what is wrong.

Thanks,
Smileyblue
