Hi All,
I came to this forum trying to find out more about my mower.... and how to diagnose and fix a seat switch. End result I let the Mower Shop take it in for warranty repairs. Bad move! What has taken them almost two weeks to diagnose would have taken me fifteen minutes and a beer to fix. Sorry I called them. Oh well, live and learn.:thumbdown:

Thanks, but I still don't have it back.... they're still figuring out when they can fit me into their busy delivery schedule (warranty work goes to the bottom of the pile, you know), but confirmed my suspicion of seat switch. In retrospect, I wish I would have pulled the safety tab from the connector, finished the yard then go to the mower shop and buy a new switch then put it in myself.... Oh well....

Well, most of us have done that. I bought my LawnBoy USED from a dealer about 9 years ago. It kept failing the first three years I had it. I did not have any experience with 2 strokes so I let him service it every time. Weeks of service and hundreds of dollars. I finally buckled down and learned to service it myself. No biggy. The last six years, no issues I could not fix myself for pennies on the dollar. Just replaced the Piston Rings, Crank Seal and Reed Valves and it runs like a top again.

I have wanted a Husqvarna mower for a while. I lamented for a few months years ago on whether to buy a Stihl vs Husqvarna chainsaw and chose a Stihl, so put focus on perhaps getting a Husky mower.

At my shop we do a lot of warranty repairs 90% of the time it takes 1-5 days to get the paper work all approved to do the repair
and then 2-4 weeks for the unit to be approved for payment in order to release the unit to the customer. The reason it takes so long for the
customer to get the unit back is because (like my shop) I hold the unit until I make sure I am going to be paid for the job and if they don't cover it
and I release the unit to the customer I will not get paid for the job. Not getting paid does not pay the bills.
