I have an older Murray 5.0 20 inch walk behind mower/mulcher with a B & S Quantum engine (model number 21765x7a) that I had fixed up, the self propelled kind. (schematic here: http://partsandservice.com/db/pl/Murray/21765x7a.01.gif)
Now I was lowering the cutting height using a crank on the back (it has a single crank height adjustment system, no individual adjustment per wheel) and once it reached the lowest height something slipped and now I can't raise it back up again regardless of what direction i turn the crank. It just feels loose as if something isn't catching.
Please help, all I've found on google is how to repair the individual wheel adjustment types.
its hard for me to see that schematic but when you lowered it you might haave just unscrewed the crank right out of its trunnion,(like a threaded nut with a little nipple.)
