why all of a sudden my scotts 16hp 42" riding mower stopped and will not move? It's like it is stuck in neutral.

I would start by checking the drive belt from the engine to the transmission. It is tucked up in the frame and can be hard to see. make sure it hasn't come off any of the pulleys or is broken.
