A mowing client gave me this mower. Older model Murray 20 inch. Today I began the clean up. I think what this lady had was something she'd bought out of a yard sale or off one of those guys we see around here that parks on the side of the road and sells a few old lawn mowers. I'll try and ask her son tomorrow.
Blade is pretty rusty but solid and looks decent. Not balanced but I'll do that later. Spark plug seems good. Air filter DISINTEGRATED the moment it hit the wash bucket. I'll go for a new one tomorrow.
Anyway, mix matched bolts everywhere, machine screws in places (instead of bolts), etc. It has a drain plug (thank God) but I don't want to get too far into her today as I have some mowing to finish up from yesterday.
I'm already planning on having the deck sand blasted along with the fan cover and then repaint.
