I have a yardbug that wont start and I found the problem. its the brake pto switch. problem is I dont know how to separate the switch from the harness clip. I tried bending , turning, prying and I even thought about smashing it with a hammer for over an hour and nothing. Is there some secret way of separating this switch from the harness?

Have you squeezed it to release a little latch on each side?

Yes I tried to squeeze it from all sides and nothing happens.
