hey quick question, is the throttle response on your duraforce very fast or more like ehh but it still has power? i have no ability to start mine with choke as it will go way over the intended rpm range but slows right down to the norm. it starts one prime on low throttle and even the slightest pull gets her fired. problem is that it has a bit of a sluggish throttle response after i put this new governer spring on. Ik it sounds stupid from the aggressive start up like it's saying "lets go and kick some grass".
any suggestions why it is sharp on start but dull on response when mowing? its fine but i was just curious.:confused2:
I have to prime my LawBoy several times before it will start (but I do have a fuel shutoff, so the bowl may be empty when I start). Then, if it's cool or cold outside I have to hit the primer bulb several more times. The throttle doesn't have a huge impact on RPM. I adjust it very little. As viewed from the side it looks roughly in the 9 o'clock position.
