So, I bought the snapper. Looks well kept, little bit of chipping paint (two spots) on the deck with rust but I'm treating it now. I will find a good oil based paint to touch up and hit it monday. LOVE LOVE LOVE that I can mow in reverse. Has a ninja kit. Blade is already installed, plug not. Bought carriage bolts, washers, wingnuts, but it looks like the plug slides under the chute without the hardware. I'll try it like that first with no hardware first. I was a little hesitant about the 8hp motor but it does not miss a beat. I think it's running a tad lean but that is an easy fix. Maybe they traded an EPA deadline for the PTO in reverse neutering deadline
Either way, I'm pretty stoked!!!

Pictures when you get it all done would be nice so we can see it ready to mow. No need to post pics of those calves for any reason.

Ha Ha, ok, I'll leave out the calves. Not much to look at, just a plane 'ol Snapper rer built in 2000, model m250819be. I'll get some pictures up soon. Picked up some I.H. Red today from Tractor Supply. Not looking for a full restoration, it's in really good condition. Just gonna keep some surface rust from becoming a problem later down the line, and repaint the exhaust. Easy-peasy...
