I have a 2011 Cub Cadet GTX 1054 and the electric clutch won't engage when the key is in the normal green key position. If the key is in the reverse acknowledge position with the button pushed in (red light on) the PTO will engage. I swapped the RMC module/Ignition switch with my Cub Cadet zero turn and it worked correctly on the zero turn. The zero turn RMC module/ignition switch in the GTX exhibited the same symptoms as the stock RMC module. No engagement in green normal position but will engage reverse position and button pressed.

I've checked continuity on the brake switch; checked out ok. Unplugged the brake switch and wouldn't crank. I put 12V to the relay and it checks out ok, even swapped it with a new one. I checked the PTO switch continuity and it checks out ok. I even swapped it with new one.

Electrical schematic attached.

Not sure what else to check.

Thanks

Have you checked the reverse switch looking at the diagram if the switch or wire is grounded the module thinks in reverse drive position

That was it. Reverse switch was bent and contacting linkage completing the circuit. Straightened it out and working correctly now.
