I have an older Sears GTV 16 garden tractor, engine model 402417, type 0660-01. I'm trying to remove the starter but to do so the rear engine shroud needs to come off. I removed the belt pulley then removed the 2 hex screws from what I believe is called the fan booster which is next under the pulley. The engine shroud is between the booster and the flywheel. The problem is that I can't get it to budge. Does anyone know if there is something else that needs to be removed besides the two screws to get it loose or does it require a flywheel type puller to break it free?

From the parts diagram I didn't anything else holding it in place, It is most likely just stuck.

Thanks Ilengine, I was afraid of that. Guess I'll just keep at it till it breaks free.
