I have a 2007 GT 1554 with the 27 H.P. Kohler engine that has been leaking oil from underside of engine every time I use it. I checked the drain tube and oil filter and they are ok. Is there a seal on the bottom of the engine that leaks and is it replaceable? Thanks for any help

Check the pan/ sump bolts they can loosen up sometimes causing it to leak the way you are describing. If not it might be the crank seal.

Yes there is a seal for the crank and it is replaceable. You may need the drive pulley also as they rust on so bad that it maybe damaged when removed.

Check air filter and replace if necessary. Engines have to breathe and a dirty or stopped up air filter will cause engine failure if not maintained or replaced as needed. I will also add that keeping the inside of air filter housing and breather tube clean with a clean shop towel will keep engine running cooler. An air filter is one of the most neglected parts on any engine.
