Hello

I have a Groundsmaster 224 with what I believe has a faulty carburetor. The carburetor is made by Mikuni and is toro part number 72-6260. The problem I am having is that it keeps flooding the engine, I hear the fuel pump pumping but it never shuts off. I believe the float is stuck open. The mower will not start, gas ends up in the oil.

I can not find a replacement carburetor

I had a local shop "rebuild" it but the problem still exists, they said the jet needed to be replaced and they were able to find one. The local shop says the float is fine.

Have you had any luck we have two 224's and one is having the exact same problem

I sure he had some luck after 10 years of trying.
