Hello all. Thanks for letting us have an avenue to ask questions. For newbies like me I am confused by all the different types of mowers and trimmers and tillers and implements...etc. I am needing some advice on equipment for my property. Not sure if I should post it here or look for a different thread. So, I will wait, and also look at the other threads to see if I see somewhere pertinent to lay out all the details. Hi Jack, and Welcome! Honestly, your best bet is to find a local Outdoor Power Equipment Dealer in your area that you like and trust. The good ones will tell you what will work best for your needs. Most good OPE dealers will be authorized service/warranty centers for multiple lines, so you will have options. If you were to have any issues, which can happen with even the best products, they are prepared to take care of it, promptly.
Thanks Honda Tech, I appreciate the info. Thats the problem, trying to find a OPM, and then trusting that they ain't feeding you B.S. But also I am sure the few that I have spoke with are kind of leery of me since I have trouble trying to really describe what I want. On a side note, I got my smaller JD deck fixed and put the belt for the motor back on, that was a pain in the butt. And I have a buddy that needed to rent a track ho for a job and he did that this evening, so I went in half with him and will be able to dig out for the french drain I need. Now just try and finagle a tiller somewhere for cheap or to borrow and I will be set. I still feel that I need a decent push mower, just because I have never been without one, but we'll see how it works for a few weeks without one. Have a good one.
