Hello is there any one out there that has information on this Lawn Tractor , Has a 8 hp Briggs and Stratton vertical shaft engine , Was built by Murray Ohio Mfg.Co in Lawrenceburg Tenn. 38464 Model number is 8--3666X42 and Date of Manufacture is 7286 . I have found some info on Wikipedia -- Company was at 211 Jackson Street Lawrenceburg ,Tn. They were open for 11 years and 5 months , they closed the doors on September 30 th 2005 . Company was dissolved by June 12 2008 and bought by Briggs and Stratton and they build Brute Lawn Mowers for Walmart . Any Help on finding a parts book and parts would be greatly appreciated , Does any one own one of these beasts, or know who sold them ? Thank you all Len
I have one built sometime in the 1980's but it has a 11 or 12 HP engine.

What parts do you need...engine? mower body? You can search Murray riding mower and maybe luck into a newer IPL. Are these the same parts as your older mower? Dunno - you have to examine closely.
For Briggs parts, get the engine # and search. # probably stamped on a shroud...XXXXXX-XXXX-XX.
