Great dane supersurfer blades wont engage

Today I was mowing and the mower was running fine and all of a sudden the blades just stopped. The mower was running fine but the blades would not engage. I don't know if it's a fuse or the pto switch. It's a Great Dane super surfer with a Kawasaki 23 vtwin. It has always ran fine I had a tune up done to it this spring.
