I have an old PMZ260 model 992020 gravely and I replaced the damper controls (part # 09232400 & 09258900 ) but still get a back and forth movement at low speeds. Has anyone else had this problem? Could you help with this problem?
Thanks bleu My Exmark lazer was doing the same thing but after replacing the damper arms, the problem was solved. Maybe back and forth is not the right way to define the problem, maybe pulsing back and forth at low speed. there is no issue when you push the steering all the way forward.

What do you mean back and forth movement.

By the way dampers only slow down your movement of the steering bars. Has nothing to do with the actual movement of the mower.
