Hi, I'm looking for some help. I have a Gravely 8163 and have had the Briggs and Stratton engine completely rebuilt this year and now there is a problem in the hydraulics. I changed the filter and refilled the filter with dextrose like I've done in the past. Now I am losing the fluid when I lower and lift the deck. there was no visible exterior leaks so I drained the gear case and now have extra fluid and there is red in it, so I know where the fluid went. Question is what went out a seal, and can it be repaired? Any help is appreciated I want to put the snow blower on it but I can't lift it.
Thanks
Randy

Without any external leaks the fluid is staying internal. Most likely is the draining and refilling introduced air into the system. So I would keep working the lift and see what happens, It may start working because the extra fluid is going in the system and expelling the air.
