Gravely 42 XL ZT problem...mower blades disengage

I've read a few threads on here and it sounds like it may be a charging issue, but here's what's going on.

Went out to mower and it wouldn't start today. Did the whole clicking thing just like a car does when the battery is dead, so I jumped it. Mowed about 3/4 of my yard and it was fine, then all of a sudden the blades stopped. Disengaged the PTO, and then reengaged and it ran for a while and did the same thing.

Shut 'er down and let it sit a while, had to jump it again, and it did the same thing. Blades turn for a while and then stop again.

Does this sound like a battery issue, or is something else causing the problem???

Thanks,

Dan

Fixing Electric Clutches information

Also remove your battery & take to auto parts store etc. & ask them to load test battery, this will let you know if battery is good or bad before going out and purchasing new battery.
