Grasshopper 721D stalls on right incline

Hello, I have a Grasshopper 721D mower that runs great until it gets on a right incline (right higher than left) & then it sputters & stalls, then takes quite a while to get restarted. I've actually had to move the tractor away from this position to get it restarted a few times.
This only happens on a right incline & it doesn't have to be steep.
PLEASE HELP!
Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!
